On behalf of the International Arbitration Institute, we would like to invite you to attend the one-day event “Theory in Action” organized by Learned Societies in tribute of Professor Emmanuel Gaillard on 15 April 2022 at the Grand Amphithéâtre of the Sorbonne University in Paris.
As you will see in the attached programme, this is a tribute to Professor Gaillard’s diverse contributions to the legal world and to the depth of his thinking, both in arbitration law and beyond.
The testimonials, analyses and discussions that will be shared during this event will highlight Professor Gaillard’s ability to combine theory and practice. Though he is no longer with us, he will forever remain an inspiration to generations of lawyers, as they strive to carry forth his legacy
